How we review professionals, limit who can see your information, protect your data and respond when someone needs urgent help.
These limits are enforced in the data itself, not only on screen. A professional sees a client’s information only while assigned to that client.

A session. Only its participants are in the room.
Session notes. Written by your professional, and encrypted at rest.
Therapists, doctors and mediators apply with their full name, professional title, licence number and a short biography.
Our verification team reviews each application before the person can take sessions. Doctors are checked against the register of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Our verification team can suspend a professional, which also takes them offline.
We treat health and legal records as sensitive data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Companion messages, check-in notes and session notes are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
The contents of messages, notes and answers are not written to our system logs. We log only technical details such as timings and outcomes.
Staff use separate accounts with two-factor sign-in and only the permissions their role needs. Every staff action is recorded in an audit log that cannot be edited.
Our staff tools do not show the contents of companion messages, notes, check-in notes or questionnaire answers. We will confirm the details before Lifewillow opens.
Lifewillow has not opened yet, so its SOS button is not available.
